James Sullivan Joins Marshfield based elder agency, CARE, LLC as Care Manager


James Sullivan, MSW, LCSW, a Milton resident, has recently been named Care Manager at CARE, LLC, Consultation, Advocacy and Resources for Elders. Located in Marshfield, CARE provides geriatric care management to elders and their families throughout the South Shore and upper Cape Cod.

DATELINE:  MILTON AND MARSHFIELD, MA…James Sullivan, MSW, LCSW, a Milton resident, has recently been named Care Manager at CARE, LLC, Consultation, Advocacy and Resources for Elders.  Located in Marshfield, CARE provides geriatric care management to elders and their families throughout the South Shore and upper Cape Cod.

Mr. Sullivan holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University in New York and is a licensed social worker.  In his new role at CARE, Mr. Sullivan will oversee elder clients’ care, ensuring their complex, practical needs are met for optimal quality of life. His responsibilities include screening, arranging and monitoring in-home help and other services for elders as well as providing crisis intervention and acting as a liaison for families who live far away.

In addition to being a Care Manager at CARE, Mr. Sullivan also serves as a Clinical Therapist at Mass Bay Counseling in Marshfield and the AHISMA Center for Growth and Development in Milton.  Previously, Mr. Sullivan worked for Arms Acres Outpatient Addition Treatment Center in New York City.  For the past four years, Mr. Sullivan has been a non-paid consultant to the Boston Archdiocese’ Office of Pastoral Support and Outreach.  He is affiliated with the National Association of Social Workers.

Mr. Sullivan is a native and resident of Milton.
