Middletown is a city in Orange County, New York, USA, in New York's Hudson Valley region. The city of Middletown lies along the northern boundary of the New York Metropolitan Area, an imaginary line that runs from Poughkeepsie through Newburgh, Middletown, and Port Jervis, New York. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 13.3 square kilometers.

Like some of its sister city, Middletown is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in New York.
