Seneca Falls is a town in Seneca County, New York, United States. The population was 9,347 in 2000 census. The town of Seneca Falls contains a village also called Seneca Falls. The town and the village are east of Geneva, New York in the northern part of the Finger Lakes District. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 71.0 square kilometers. In the town the population was spread out with 23.6 percent under the age of 18, 8.5 percent from 18 to 24, 30.3 percent from 25 to 44, 21.9 percent from 45 to 64, and 15.8 percent who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 98.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.7 males.
