3rd Annual Women's History Month Conference For Girls


Trendsetters’ Network, an alliance of not for profit organization and women’s professional associations working to encourage adolescent girls to explore nontraditional career alternatives.

More than 300 girls from New York City schools will be participating in the day-long event. Female professionals at executive levels of top NYC companies will help girls examine current and future directions in fields such as science, engineering, technology, digital media, film, medicine and the public sector through participation in panels and hands-on interactive workshops.

Participating organizations include The Women's Sports Foundation, NY Software Industry Association and the MTA.

In honor of Women's History Month the event will pay tribute to two extraordinary women: Irene Sendler, a Heroine of the Holocaust who saved thousands of children and Wangarri Maathai, 2004 Nobel Peace Prize winner.
