New York is a state in the northeastern United States. Majority of the population is concentrated in the southern portion around New York City, the state is often regionalized into Upstate and Downstate. New York is the home of Ellis Island, where many immigrants in the early 20th century arrived in the United States.

Milo is a town in Yates County, New York, USA. The town of Milo is on the east border of the county and borders Penn Yan, New York. Milo lies between Keuka Lake and Seneca Lake, which define respectively the west and east town lines and are two of the Finger Lakes. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 114.7 square kilometers.

Like some of its sister towns, Milo is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in New York.
