New York is a state in the northeastern United States. Union Vale is a municipality in Dutchess County, New York. In 2000, the population of the city was 4,546 and an area of 98.0 square kilometers. The town of Union Vale is in the south-central part of the county. The town is east of the City of Poughkeepsie. The region was originally part of the Beekman Patent. The town was first settled around 1716. The town was formed in 1827 from the Towns of Beekman and LaGrange. For every 100 females there were 100.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.3 males.

A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Union Vale is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
