Radio City Music Hall: Magic and Majesty


Radio City Music Hall opened its doors on December 27, 1932. It is located at 1260 Avenue of the Americas, in the heart of the Rockefeller Center. This place not only offers entertainment of the highest quality, it is also full of beauty. Radio City Music Hall entertains and inspires all its visitors.

In 1999, Radio City Music Hall had a restoration that lasted seven months and cost $70 million. This process restored the famed marquee, the seats, the ceilings and the carpets. The Music Hall reopened on October 4, 1999; it seemed as if it was its opening night.

You have the chance to explore the Great Stage, known as the largest indoor performance stage of the world. You can also see the hydraulic system of the stage (in operation since the early 30’s) and the private suite, all of this in company of the experienced tour guides of the Music Hall.

There is a walking tour called the “Stage Door Tour”, it lasts one hour and departs from the lobby of Radio City Music Hall. It is a walking to the inside of the Music Hall.
