Splish Splash Water Park: Safety, Cleanliness and Fun
In May of 1991, the dreams of Chip Cleary came true, Splish Splash Water Park opened its doors on the east end of Long Island. Today, this water park is the biggest attraction of Long Island, not to mention that it is the most thrilling one there too. The beautiful park of 32 acres delighted everyone immediately; it had 3 body slides, 2 speed slides, 2 tube slides, a family raft ride, a restaurant, 2 kiddie pools, a 1300 foot river and a magical atmosphere. Splish Splash is built around the beautiful trees that the property always had.
Splish Splash Water Park has something special for everyone; whether you are hanging out with your friends, in a family celebration or trip or in an event with a large group of people. The Travel Channel ranked this water park as the #1 in the Tri-State Area and as one of the Top 5 in the country. The attractions of this water park are divided in thrill rides, fun-for-all rides and just for kid’s rides. The thrill rides include: Alien Invasion, the Abyss Barrier Reef, Cliff Diver, Dragon’s Den, Giant Twister and Max Trax. Some of the fun-for-all rides are: Lazy River, Hollywood Stunt Rider, Mammoth River, Shotgun Falls, Soak City, Splash Landing, Surf City Wave Pool and Close Encounters of the “Bird” Kind. Among the kid’s rides you will find Elephant Slide, Kiddie Slides, Little Forg Slide, Monsoon Lagoon, Octopus Pool and Pirate Cove.
